I thought that SR/TLB is required on the same router with eth/to because of
the rif. If you check out any of the Desktop protocols books they seem to
agree. I think sometimes CCO example assume certain things so some
requirements are left out of the samples.

Subject: single router dlsw ether+token
I found this link on CCO
http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios120/12cgcr/ibm_c
/bcprt2/bcdlsw.htm#xtocid2338139
(watch wrap)
It has a config example with dlsw on a single router sith both ethernet
and tokenring and it does not includethe config for SR/TLB.
So, now we have Caslow saying that SR/TLB is a requirement and this doc
without it.
any ideas?
Obviously SR/TLB will work but it'll bridge non routable protocols between
the interfaces and the simple straight dlsw config won't.
