I'm a bit confused about the command "ip summary-address eigrp 1
x.x.x.x" when put on an interface. Now, do I have to also have a
network statement for the non-summarized routes under the eigrp router
process before I summarize at the interface?
I'm working on the extra credit problem of bootcamp lab #3 and see that
the summarized address is working fine to the downstream routers, but
there is no corresponding network statement under the eigrp router
process. However, when I try to do summarize the 10.x.x.x network and
at the same time remove the 10.x.x.x network from the eigrp routing
process, it doesn't get advertised at all.
I think I'm missing something very basic here. Thanks
