Suggestion? Yes. Read through your lab first, then see if your idea meets
the requirements of the lab.

The topic of RID's is one I discussed with the folks who ran the ASET lab
 when it still existed ) and with the folks in the Mentor ECP1 class. As a
result of these discussions, I developed an alternative RID scheme for my
visit to the lab.

But - the lab document is your holy book. There may be directives that
preclude your doing what you suggest. There may just be no need. Or it may
be perfectly acceptable. Only your proctor knows for sure ;->

I was wondering if the proctor will appreciate if I put a router-id command
under every OSPF process to set the router id to something very simple like:
R1
=> router-id 1.1.1.1 and so on?
Any suggestion for those who already went to the Lab?
