t
has been implemented as an optional parameter that is negotiable. But in order
for it to work both end need to support it.
Even more the whole Autonomous System will need to support it (IOS 11.2) becaus
e
the Age of every LSA is affected: Do Not Age parameter. If you have a closer
look at a Router LSA we've got the DC keyword under the Options section that
specify that this router will support the Demand-Circuit option.
If one router of a domain do send a Router LSA without the DC flag, any DC
capable router will flush any LSA is got with the DNA parameter set.
