I thought that isis has only two network type, broadcast and point-to-point.
Does the mapping clns take care of this problem. Does it perform some kind
of trick.

You need to do a frame mapping for CLNS.

Subject: IS-IS encap failed

I am getting an encap failed message between two routers on a fram relay
network one of them is running PtoM and the other is using the physical
interface. Has anyone ever come across this before? How do I fix it?
TIA
Steve
