Subject: Console access settings
Guys,
I am working on troubleshooting techniques relating to lock-outs.
Can the console port speed be set to anything other that 9600 and 2400
baud
through the register?
Can parity, stopbits, or the like be change through the register?
It seems to me that password recovery techniques can be used to recover
most
lockouts because they are done through the config.
I would appreciate it if anyone knows of any tricks that can be applied
that I
may have not thought of to lock someone out of a router or switch.
TIA
