Sure, change the subnet mask on r1/serial to 255.255.252.0
at this point the route will show up on R2, however, R1 will have a
igrp route from R2 :172.16.6.0/32, this is really starting to get ugly
but you could add 172.16.6.1/24 as a secondary ip on R1,
When R1 tries to reach a host on 172.16.6.0 he will see
that subnet directly connected, ARP, and R2 will proxy arp reply..
