I have thought about it a little more and this is what I came up with:
If you are using DLSW, it automatically converts all MAC addresses to
noncanonical form and then back again (if running Ethernet to
Ethernet). So, if you are doing filtering on your routers running DLSW,
you have to remember that when specifying the mac addresses in which to
filter it is in noncanonical form and not the actual form the Ethernet end
device sees it in. You can perform bitswapping manually in order to verify
you are filtering or not filtering the correct addresses.
