Conclusion is that notepad.exe is NOT allowed in Singapore's CCIE lab by
choice , by the same token, I would assume that trying to reenable the use
of notepad would be taken as cheating . Why is there a inconsistency between
different labs ? I don't know and won't be in a position to say.
Do I think it's fair ? Frankly, no.. if notepad is going to be disallowed,
then it should be disallowed in all the labs. BUT nothing is ever fair, so
let's move on.. :-) Back to hitting the lab and getting my typing speed up
to 35wpm !
