Hello Jerry,
Try to search out bug toolkit on CCO. I saw somthing about it
recently...
BTW, I was wondering if you send your configs.
JH> I encountered a problem where I had a NSSA area that was not adjacent to Ar
ea 0. So I created a virtual link to attain my adjancency. The virtual link cam
e up.
JH> However my routes to the NSSA area never got forwarded, I tried everything
with no luck. Finally I noticed that the link between the two routers in the N
SSA were a VLSM with a /25 mask. So I
JH> changed this to a /24.
JH> As soon as I did this all the routes were pulled into the NSSA router. I we
nt back and made the address a /25 again and once again the routes were gone. T
hen I tried summarizing using area range
JH> and, summary address. But that did not work.
JH> My question is. Are there any specific rules to the use of Virtual Links or
NSSA that anyone knows of that pertain to the addressing/mask? I have searched
the doc and I have found nothing.
