Hello Steven,
On point-to-multipoint, broadcast networks, such as Ethernet, there is no need
to
specify neighbors. However, you can specify neighbors with the neighbor command
,
in which case you should specify a cost to that neighbor.
A FR is the example of NBMA network, so you can put 'ip ospf network
point-to-multipoint' statement on interface or subinterface with future configu
ring
ospf neighbors or you can put 'ip ospf network point-to-multipoint
non-broadcast' and configuring neighbours is not needed.
