This is off topic but some people may be interested.
I drew the short straw at our company got to be the guinea pig in having a crac
k
at the Juniper JNCIE lab test over the last two days. The good news for me is t
hat
I passed which is is really good because I wouldn't have wanted to do it again.
It's a similar format to the CCIE lab in that it's over two days and you have t
o pass
each part to get to carry on. If you fail day 1 you go home. If you fail day 2
morning
you go home. It helped a great deal being a CCIE, it meant that my learning sta
rt point
was much further forward than it had been when I started my CCIE preparation. T
he Juniper
certification is very much a service provider based test. Those subjects it cov
ers it covers
in VERY VERY deep detail. My service provider background is what got me through
, like the
CCIE exam you don't have time to trawl the manuals, you have to know the subjec
ts. Also being
a Juniper authorised instructor and teaching the courses a lot helped mightily
as well.
Other details, you get access to CD based manulas as well as a full set of writ
ten
documentation. You are in a small room by yourself, not sharing with anyone els
e.
Other details are all covered by NDA.
Cheers
