- You may want to double check flash to make sure that
the file specified in the boot system command is
actually in flash memory.
From your description it sounds like the Cat6K MSFC
is not finding the boot system file. So then the MSFC
will try the boot bootldr specified file. Failing
that, if neither of these commands are present, or if
the specified files cannot be found, the MSFC will
then load the first file it finds in flash.
This situation normally occurs when a IOS upgrade has
been performed on a Cat6K's MSFC and those two commands
were not changed to reflect the new file names present
in flash.
Example commands:
boot system bootflash:c6msfc-is-mz.120-7.XE1.bin
boot bootldr bootflash:c6msfc-boot-mz.120-7.XE1.bin

Hi all ,
I was trying to configure the MSFC in CAT6.
But MSFC card boot up to router(boot)# , even thought
i change the register to 0x2102 . I even try 0x102 but
can't help.
I try to do a break during boot-up but also cannot.
Please help!!!
