If you are preparing for the SP exam series, then I'd worry about studying
MPLS. If you're going for Routing & Switching, I'd say you have enough
other things to be on your mind, that MPLS is not very likely to come close
to the exam! my opinion, granted, but it's just one of those logical
choices. Besides, it is a pretty major topic, and one can reasonably assume
that if it were on the exam, it would make it on to the objectives pages.
Again, my opinion.

Subject: MPLS
Hi,
I have a couple of questions about MPLS. First, I have not seen many
emails concerning people studying MPLS for the Lab exam. Is it for sure
that MPLS is not on the exam? Also, I think there were some email threads
a couple of months ago regarding MPLS only being used in conjunction with
ATM LANE, is this true? From a couple of configs I have seen, it looks as
if it is not necessary to have LANE implemented in order to configure
MPLS. Can someone shed some light?
Thanks,
David
