My first suspicion would be a misconfiguration on the 3660. Before
eliminating the possibility, let me say that there have been times I have
configured something perfectly, it didn't work, I compose a question for the
group and post it, then go back and look and doh! Ask Marc Russell, whom I
madly paged one day swearing up and down that his frame relay router was
whacked because my perfect configuration was not working. Problem? Did not
consult the current rack config and so the ports on the lab did not match
the ports on the rack.
Have you done the obvious - double checked the frame routes, the dlcis
assigned, and the lmi type? Clock rate on the appropriate interface, which
is the port where the DCE end of the cable is attached, frame relay ports
set up as intf-type DCE? Have you done a cut and paste of the working
config from the 2523 into the 3660? ( appropriately modified for interface
differences )?
Have you looked at debug fram pack and debug fram lmi to see what kinds of
errors layer two is reporting?
I run a bunch of different IOS versions here now. I've not run into bugs
with frame relay switching. Not to say there aren't any just saying that the
first place to look is the configuration.

Subject: Stable IOS ver for 3660
I've been having problems doing CCbootcamp lab 1 using a 3660 (IOS -
12.0(5)T1 ) as FR switch. If I use 2523 (IOS 11.2) no problems. Does any one
know of Stable IOS ver for 3660? Doesn't seem to be 11.2 for it (since a new
router).
Many thanks & regards.
