Hello again,
When creating ATM SVC's, how do you come up with NSAP addresses or ESI
addresses? Can you make them up? If not, what show command displays them?
If I do a 'sho atm ilmi-status' I get the following:
r4#sho atm ilmi-status
Interface : ATM0/0 Interface Type : Private UNI (User-side)
ILMI VCC : (0, 16) ILMI Keepalive : Disabled
ILMI State: UpAndNormal
Peer IP Addr: 0.0.0.0 Peer IF Name: ATM12/0/3
Peer MaxVPIbits: 8 Peer MaxVCIbits: 14
Active Prefix(s) :
47.0091.8100.0000.00e0.feb6.c501
r4#
If I then try the 47.... prefix I get the output below. What do I add,
truncate, or do different?
r4(config)#int atm 0/0
r4(config-if)#atm nsa
r4(config-if)#atm nsap-address 47.0091.8100.0000.00e0.feb6.c501
% Incomplete command.
r4(config-if)#atm esi-address 47.0091.8100.0000.00e0.feb6.c501
^
% Invalid input detected at '^' marker.
r4(config-if)#
As always, your help is appreciated.
Peter
