I do this myself (though the 2522 actually has 10 serials, 0 through 9) -
It works fine. You'll need some LFH60 - DB25 cables, and then just use
the DB25-RJ45 adapters with the standard console cable.
Under the serial interface that you want to use for terminal access, you
need to do a "physical async", and then do the rest under the appropriate
line configuration area.
