redistribution between VLSM and FLSM

Hi ,
This is for preparing the CCIE lab.
There has been a lot of discussion between
redistribution between example , RIP and OSPF.
RIP is classful and OSPF is classful.

But what if we use RIP v2 ? Don't we solve the problem
??
