How to know about ipx network number?

I have a question following :

R1-----R2 r1 connect r2 thought ethernet port. when i
config ipx network and encap on r1 eth port and
disable cdp,I using "debug" command
in order to find r1 eth port ipx network number. i
spent on about a hour, i can't find it.of couse i
config all four encap on my r2. pls give some light
for me.
