first of all out of respect for others who have failed or not yet sat the
exam, I passed on my first try, but I would never say it was easy or is
easy, far far from it.....its not just the amount of knowledge its the
pressure and all the stuff that goes with the exam.........so to anybody who
gets it they deserve a pat on the back and a beer.........
but I will say having the legacy stuff like apple for example did make it
harder, apple was a fucker and could cause grief along with LANE etc.....but
the reality is, they are shite and dated and had to be removed........I
think it will get even harder in the future, I am sure the papers are being
revised and when the QoS and IPsec etc get added in, the numbers passing
with drop radically...........
having said all that, I know people who have got through the CCIE and are
not very good, it varys from one to the next, its just like a good and bad
Doctor, ask any patient of Harold Shipman......! bottom line is your are
only as good as your last project..........
but IMHO I think its time to move over CCIE and get on the JCIE train, its
just pulled in and there are very little passengers on board and incidently
that looks hard and a niche group only get access to the KIT.....!
but if its part of an elite minority you want to be get a Degree in Quantum
Physics......!
slan
Damien
if you want to have a specialist qualification, then get an honors Degree in
Quantum Mechanics......!
