Multihoming and Next hop resolution are completely unrelated topics. You need
your IBGP routers to be able to resolve the Next_Hop address sent in BGP update
s if you want them to publish the routes to their routing tables. You can do t
his by adding the external subnets into your IGP or using the next_hop_self nob
 on your border routers. How many upstreams you have is irrelevant.
