A Cat3920 does not have a port capable of ISL. The 3900 has slots in which
ISL ports could be added - but the ccie "kit-list" specifies only 3920
switches....

Thanks for your reply Kevin. I knew that. When you said ISL without a
switch I thought you meant some other piece of hardware I was not aware of.

In regards to the original query by Andrew Mason, there is indeed more than
one switch in the rack, so I suspect you will have inter-switch configs to
deal with. Namely, Cat 5K to Cat 3920 ISL issues etc.
