You would use port lists if you want to restrict dlsw traffic. For example,
say you have 3 routers.
Router 1 - Token 0, Ethernet 0
Router 2 - Token 0
Router 3 - Ethernet 0
You want the token rings to ONLY be able to communicate with each other and
not the ethernets. You would use either port lists or rings lists (same
result different syntax). Those commands only work for TR and Serial
links. If you want the ethernets to only be able to talk to each other you
have to use bgroup-list. For proper syntax see the following URL:
