Derek,
With the removal of LANE, ATM is pretty much reduced to a WAN only
technology as far as the lab is concerned. They won't ask you to configure
an ATM switch, just connect a router to one.

Subject: ATM!
Hi,
I want to practice ATM (of course) and want to include the Catalyst 5000 in
my experiments. With the removal of LANE, I'm not quite sure how to do t
his. On Bootcamp rack 3, the CAT has an ATM LANE module. Can I do something
besides LANE with it?
Previously, I planned on spending considerable time w/ LANE and MPOA. Now, I
dunno. And from what I understand/pray for, I won't get hit with an MPSL VPN
or something. I'm not quite sure that is evenn supported on this platform..
I'm aware this has come up in several previous threads but I'm still a
little concerned - so please no flames.
Thanks,
-Derek :)
