Be careful on generalities. There is more than one way to skin the CCIE
cat. Do not fall into the trap, "just look in the design guide." For
instance (and this is not an NDA violation), you may be required to run DLSW
through an IPSEC tunnel over ISDN, using IS-IS routing! This would be
pretty darn hard to do, with or without the DLSW design guide, no?
Bottom line, know your core technologies down cold, so you can think outside
of the box, which you will most assuredly be required to do.

All you need to know is in the DLSW design guide available on the cisco web
site. I dont have the URL available handy but you can look it up in the
