Checkpoint is a Enterprise level firewall product and is typically the
market leader in terms of features....
It's management capabilities are it's biggest jump over the rest - however
it is expensive due to it's Enterprise market space, and is not always a
good solution for every customer.....
Checkpoint is also more scalable for performance as it runs on
Intel/PowerPC/Sparc platforms that obviously can scale hugely....

Get a firewall of sorts. Depending on how many users you need to
accomodate, you might want to look at the PIX or Checkpoint. As long as you
are putting a firewall in, you might as well put in some remote access
security measures too. Both the PIX and the Checkpoint (there are plenty
more) offer IPSec tunneling as a means of securing users coming into your
network over the Internet etc.
I cannot vouch for the Checkpoint solution, but a decent PIX like a
515/520/525 can handle a significant volume of traffic.
