I may not follow exactly what you are describing, but I don't know why you
would want to place the ethernet ports not needed for DLSw in a bridge
group. However, for the ethernet interface that will be used for DLSw, put
in the same bridge group as you used for DLSw. DLSw will not create
connections to the other ethernets that are not in the same bridge group as
DLSw. Allyn

Subject: DLSW and Ethernet

I have the following scenario:

r1 (multiple ethernets, let us say e0 to e4)

r2 (also multiple ethernets (e0 to e4)

How can I set up DLSW+ between r1-e0 and r2-e2 with no connections
between the other ethernets?

One way I can think of is place the ethernets I wasn't to connect in a
bridge group on the respective routers. I would then create additional
bridge groups on each router and place the other interfaces in those
bridge groups. My dlsw bridge group statement would only have one
bridge group on each router configured.

Am I an the right track?
