Subject: ASET REGISTRANTS
Dear ASET Registrant,
As you know, ASET is an extremely popular service provided by the Cisco
Channels Organization. Moving forward however, we need a program that can
scale to meet the requirements of the greatest number of participants. We
intend to break out the hands-on component of the program by working
together with Cisco's Customer Advocacy Org. to support and enhance the
University-based CCIE Practice Lab Program. Currently there are eight
locations in the US and three international locations where Partner SE's can
go to get hands-on access to equipment designed to emulate the Lab
Examination curriculum. Access to these Labs is fee-based, approximately
$250.00 per day depending on the University. As of March 31, all ASET
program participants who wish to have a hands-on experience will be directed
to these University Labs.
Information on the CCIE Practice Lab Program can be found at:
http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/625/ccie/exam_preparation/practice_labs.htm
l
Attendees like yourself that are before the deadline are still open to
attend the San Jose lab as scheduled, but with one slight change. The class
will be following the University model and will not be proctored by a CCIE.
If due to this change you would prefer to access the equipment online
instead to conserve travel costs, reply back to this email with "Yes,
reschedule for online access instead". Instructions on how to access the
practice labs online via the Internet will then be emailed to you.
If you have any questions or concerns please direct your comments to
aset-reg@cisco.com. More info is listed on the registration page at
http://www.cisco.com/go/aset.
Regards,
ASET Program
