- VLAN X will contain the LANE interface which is 155Mbps.
The closest Ethernet speed on module 2 available is 100Mbbs.

- There was a correction for the FastEtherChannel issue.

To enable and disable ports, port speed, and port duplex settings,
configure the following:

  (S2)
S2> (enable) set port disable 2/1-24
S2> (enable) set port enable 2/3-4,2/7-8,2/12-13,2/17-18,2/22-23
  Ports 2/2-3,2/7-8,2/12-13,2/17-18,2/22-23 enabled.
  S2> (enable)

  S2> (enable) set port speed 2/1-24 10
Ports 2/1-24 transmission speed set to 10Mbps.

  S2> (enable) set port speed 2/3-4,2/12-13,2/18,2/22-23 100
Ports 2/3-4,2/12-13,2/18,2/22-23 transmission speed set to 100Mbps.

S2> (enable) set port duplex 2/1-24 half
  Ports 2/1-24 set to half-duplex.

S2> (enable) set port duplex 2/3-4 full
  Ports 2/3-4 set to full-duplex.

  (Corrected Page 63,219,235)

  set port speed 2/1-2,2/5-11,2/14-17,2/19-21,2/24 10
  set port speed 2/3-4,2/12-13,2/18,2/22-23 100
  set port duplex 2/3-4 full
  set port duplex 2/1-2,2/5-24 half

Subject: SolutionLabs Catalyst config question

Hey folks,

I must be missing something easy, but could someone who's gone through the
SolutionLabs lab Scenario 2-1 please explain to me the thinking behind
making ports 2/3-4 10 Mbps half duplex when the requirement is for making
it a fast etherchannel? I see the creation of the channel, but why not 100
full duplex? Also, why was VLAN X considered 100Mps? Thanks.
