Hello,
I am wondering if it's possible to place a outbound
call when a dialer interface is tied to a
virtual-template interface. A majority of the
docs/examples mention inbound calls but I couldn't
find anything yet that saids outbound isn't possible.
I am using a serial line as primary and dialer as
backup with ppp multilink and have them tied to a
multilink virtual template. It works almost fine; the
only problem I'm having is I'm having trouble getting
traffic to bring up the dialer interface (backup).
Have dialer-list 1 proto ip permit, and static routes
to virtual template since thats the outbound
interface.
