ok IS-IS is easy to configure ...but if misconfigured difficult to
troubleshoot unlike ospf...
1.How do i find out who is the DR on a MA network ?
( sh clns is-neigh shows the neighbors with priority ) any other which
says its DR...rather than have us guess based on priority
Cheers,Padhu

sorry, clns routing is part of r6, just screwed up on the past.. I tried to
change the address to 49.6666.6666.6666.00 and 49.5555.5555.5555.00 and had
the same results. R6 can see R5, but R5 can not see R6..
Thanks!
Robert

So on router 6 you don't have "clns routing".
Also not sure about the clns address you are using.
Is 00 valid for the first part?
I use something like 49.0001.6666.6666.6666.00.
Maybe don't need to 49.0001 part but it does make
more sense to do it this way.
