You are actually right, the command would work only on the Lan interface on
the 2600. For some of the others older routers, you can do some simple
config using the mini-IOS and as such, you can copy tftp to flash using WAN
interfaces. I was actually looking at the original question and it didn't
hit on to me that you were specifically talking about the tftpdnld command..
