- The SolutionLabs website also provides a syllabus for the
Workbook materials. You can also download a free sample
taken from the Workbook from our website.

Our approach is to provide CCIE authored materials that
emulate the CCIE R/S lab in a "class like" approach,
instead of the often used, repetitive lab approach.

This is how we differentiate ourselves from competitors.

We take the time to explain lab concepts. i.e. protocol
addressing plans for IP/IPX/AT. Giving a scenario and a
router config does work for some candidates; others enjoy
understanding the logic behind a topic. i.e. when is it
time to bounce an interface even though Cisco says that
commands are acted on immediately when entered.

Most customer's that answer our PQA survey have commented
that they enjoy this "walk-thru" style.

I have seen posts in newsgroups, including GroupStudy that
compare the SolutionLabs materials to Caslow's ECP course
for this reason. We are honored to be compared in this
  way.

To address the number of scenarios included subject, I
feel that this is a point-of-view answer. In a previous
post, Alan can be considered correct when he says that
our materials are really one big multiprotocol lab.

It would also be correct to say that Caslow's ECP1 course
is one big multiprotocol lab. It would be correct to say
that the CCIE R/S lab is one big multiprotocol lab. (grin)

I would disagree with that logic though. I feel that the
lab and ECP course have many scenarios - or sections. In
our materials, each scenario breaks out various concepts.
i.e. getting OSPF up and running, and then turning on
advanced features for quick fault isolation.

- Should anyone have questions regarding the SolutionLabs
materials - or their content, feel free to email me at

Thanks Alan. I am still a little surprised though. Take a look at the
Solutionlabs Pricing page again, the description is a little different from
yours. Is clearly states 17 lab scenarios and the supporting documentation.
