Some CDs are known to do that. Get October or August 2000 version, I know
for a fact that those are fine.

Quick question:
Yesterday I was planning on having a CD "familiarzation" day. I took my
laptop to the coffe shop, fired it up (Netscape 4.75 browser) , and was able
to load the home page by selecting the "Launch Documentation CD" button on
the start screen.
Then, to my dismay, ANY link from that page resulted in nothing but a bunch
of hieroglyphics...... What the?
Any ideas?
