I don't think that ANYTHING can truly prepare you for the lab. But here
are some pointers:

1. Continue your reading. a 92% on the written doesn't mean that you know
everything. Use the exam blueprint to make an honest assessment of what
you have in your pocket and what you still need. Keep learning new
things.

2. Cisco sponsors several worldwide practice labs. The one I went to in
Indianapolis was $250/day. I am fortunate that I live about 15 miles from
it. GREAT for getting used to the lab environment. Things like learning
to use a terminal server for your access to all the equipment, as well as
being able to practice things you've never done before. It's 2-3 days
WELL spent and I don't know many people with access to all the equipment
that I saw there.

3. Fatkid.com has some absolutely horrendous labs that would make good
practice for the real thing.

4. The waiting list for the lab is about 6 months right now. Anything
much earlier than that and you got lucky in someone else's cancellation.
So schedule it today, intend to pass it the first time (I don't spend
$1000 of ANYONE'S money with the intention to FAIL). BUT...failing it
once is probably the best way to prepare for a passing grade.

If you are aiming for a first time pass, brace yourself for
dissappointment. Some do it the first time, I know ONE person who did,
but I know a LOT more who didn't. I had to take it twice, and believe me,
there's NO shame in failing it. It's kind of like losing the Super Bowl
though (not that I'd know what THAT is like, precisely).
