All,
First attempt complete, signed up for second attempt...
IT IS DOABLE. This exam is a comprehensive exam that tests not best
practices, not what you would do in a live network, but your ability to
adapt what you know about networking and apply it to unanticipated events
and scenarios.
I made it to day two, the only one in my group to do so, so I guess tha
t
makes me the most successful loser of my group...
Didn't make it to troubleshooting because of the stupid (read the
instructions type), and I mean moronic, errors on day one and first half of
day two. I did have technical weakness ( I don't use this particular
technology... ) in one area that broke the acceptable point limit, and I
will rectify that in quick order. I was "close" as the proctor said; he did
not give point totals.
Note to self: When you find easy points, make sure you complete ALL of
the
required bullets listed under the question. Don't gloss over it just
because you know it. READ THE ENTIRE QUESTION AND DOUBLE CHECK VIA SHOW
STATEMENTS!!! This paragraph alone, had I written it down on one of the
scratch pieces of paper, would have been enough to allow me to go to the
troubleshooting section.
I did this to myself, the exam didn't do it to me. At least I have that.
John
