Can u do me a favour ?
Just to test one more thing which didn't work quite right without a reboot n
my lab last week.
Plug in a loopback on r1 and run eigrp on that and redistribute eigrp into
ospf on R1 and see if those routes also showup in the rest of the ospf
netwwork as E2s.

Cheers,Padhu

Subject: FW: OSPF - nssa

I have:

R1--------enet--------R2-----serial hdlc--------R3--------rest of network
         area 5 area 3 area 0

R1 is redistributing a connected network into OSPF (redis connected). Area
5 is a nssa where R2 is telling R1 a default route. R2 sees the
redistributed network from R1 but does not pass it on to R3. How can I get
R3 to see the network? The virtual link over area 3 is up. R1s loopback is
seen by all, just not the other loopback on R1 that is redistributed into
OSPF with 'redis connected'.
