even if one configures a /24 on the frame serial interfaces with PMP
network type , it would show up as /32 ...

I believe the area range command determines what the area abr advertises to
other areas. Think about it. How would a router know where to route within
the area if it did not have specific topology information?
In terms of what is advertised on the interior, I believe that depends upon
your configurations. Even on a point to multipoint, how do you have an
interface with a /32?

Hi,
Well these are not loopbacks or host routes - but frame-relay
point-to-multipoint linkes. An no
it does not make a difference. On all routers connected to area 0, I put in
the following:
area 0 range 150.100.0.0 255.255.0.0
As these interfaces are in the backbone of my network.
