RE: dialer watch idle time out

Well, I found the problem. No code bugs, nothing to do with dialer watch. It
was the called router. I had the dialer list in as "dialer-list 1 protocol ip
deny". The incoming call was permitted, but nothing ever reset the idle timer,
so it always disconnected at the end of the configured "dialer idle-timeout".

BTW, I used debug isdn q931 to see which end was disconnecting, then went to th
e called router to see what was causing it.

Charles,

Haven't searched bugs, but would recommend sending this to TAC to find
out..

Might also want to add 'debug isdn q921' just to eliminate if it's not an
ISDN problem.

Regards

Bernard.

nd I need both. The "dialer map ip 156.43.201.0 name r4 82799" line is needed
to make the dialer watch feature work. The basic dialer map, "dialer map ip 15

ook this one out, the dialer still made the connection, but dynamic routing sto
pped (didn't get a neighbor on the BRI).
