You can also tell by the serial number range.... (either the back of the
router, or "show version")
440xxxxx is a 4000 regular
445xxxxx is a 4000-M
450xxxxx is a 4500 regular
455xxxxx is a 4500-M
470xxxxx is a 4700 regular
475xxxxx is a 4700-M
Hope that helps!
