You cann't have different passwords for chap, it have to be the same !

For PAP:

on r1:
username r2 password router2
int bri0
ppp authentication pap
ppp pap sent-username r1 password router1

on r2:
username r1 password router1
int bri0
ppp authentication pap
ppp pap sent-username r2 password router2

can somebody give me a sample config on isdn that has different password
(chap or pap) configured on both routers. The one I have usually have same

password for both routers.
