Hi All,
I was fortunate enough to take ECP1 in San Jose a couple of months ago, and
the instructor was Val. Both the course and the instructor were excellent!
Val is listed as technical editor on the first edition of Caslow's book.
According to Val, on the second edition he was to be listed as co-author.
We went form 8:30am to 11pm or so every day except the last day, which ended
at 2pm. Its lab-centric with some tech talks in between. I had lost
motivation because of a previous failed attempt, but this course helped me
realize that the goal was within my grasp.
Val is excellent and can get down into the details if you want to. The lab
scenarios were pretty challenging, and he reviews them with the class to
highlight the gotchas and the solutions. I highly recommend this course.
