I don't have the ccbootcamp labs. But, to get straight to enable mode you
want to set the privilege level to 15 for whatever means you are using to
access the box, whether line vty, console, or even set a username
password/privilege level. However, on all my routers I always add the
following:
line con 0
exec-timeout 0 0 !The session never ages out
privilege level 15 !You get straight to the 'enable' mode
line aux 0
line vty 0 4
exec-timeout 0 0
privilege level 15
no login

Subject: Couple questions
I am working on ccbootcamp lab 5 part 2. The part I am having problems with
is getting the default route into IGRP. I must be having a brain fart, but
just wanted to be sure. I am redistributing it into IGRP at router 5
(generated default route from router 2) but it's still not working. Any
ideas?
Second question is I have a simple pod a work. I would like to be able to
be at an enable prompt when I login to the routers instead of having to type
"en" every time. Any links or hints? As usual, the Cisco docs are not
friendly :) Thanks!
