Don't know - but my feeling is that if you don't need one, don't do it. Of
course if you have multiple paths to a router and you are doing something
like DLSW or BGP, if you created a loopback for peerings and then you lost
marks - I would seriously dispute that.
Just remember to conform to any rules they may have stipulated - e.g. use a
certain address space.
