Subject: SR/TLB bridging problem
Hi, guys.
I got a bridging problem as the following topology
Ra------Ethernet--------SR/TLB-------ring-----Rb
When I ping Rb from Ra, and I turn on the "debug arp" on the Rb. I got Ra's
mac address is still in Ethernet format. So although Rb did send the
unicast arp reply, Ra didn't receive it. So the ping doesn't work.
Because the SR/TLB support the MAC address translation, the Ra's mac address
format gotten on the Rb should be in the Token ring format, right?
Is there any special config ? Can somebody answer this question?
I got the same problme with the dlsw as the following topology.
Ra----Ethernet----RR1---dlsw----RR2-------ring----Rb
Thanks
Dezhong
