Hi,
I have found that the _ regular expression character does not match up to (
or ) which you get in the AS_PATH attribute within confederations.
Is there any way to match these? (I have found that . will match, but this
is not good as . could be any character).
e.g.
R6#sh ip bgp regexp 65001
BGP table version is 29, local router ID is 10.6.6.6
Status codes: s suppressed, d damped, h history, * valid, > best, i -
internal
Origin codes: i - IGP, e - EGP, ? - incomplete
Network Next Hop Metric LocPrf Weight Path
*> 50.0.0.0 10.56.1.5 0 100 0 (65001) i
*> 172.1.1.0/24 10.56.1.5 0 100 0 (65001) 1 i
*> 172.1.3.0/24 10.56.1.5 1 100 0 (65001) 1 i
*> 172.1.4.0/24 10.56.1.5 0 100 0 (65001) 1 i
R6#sh ip bgp regexp _65001_$
(NO MATCHES FOUND)
R6#sh ip bgp regexp .65001.$
