I wouldn't normally post this as its not technical BUT don't flame me!!!!

I think I may save some of you some time.........

Chaps,
I have recently gone through the pain of trying to get 12.0
versions for my home lab. I spent time trying old PC memory which some
people say works OK. No joy for me though. Next, I did a great deal of
shopping around and spent hrs on ebay trying to source some memory!

I live in the UK but the best deals are from the states.........

For 16 Meg DRAM I used TSpicer8@excite.com where I got each stick for $40
each. I paid via credit card over the phone. Postage about $10 and it took a
1 week. I did have to pay £30 to custom and execise for 6 of them to be
shipped to the UK.

For the extra 8Meg flash I used computerpartsnow_com@yahoo.com where I got
each stick for $50 each. I paid through paypal. this cost me $10 to ship to
the UK. Not sure on custom and exercise yet as they are expected any day.

Considering most people want $100 for this type of memory I think I have
done pretty good.

regards Russ H
