You are right in that you need to use EIGRP if you only want to broadcst SAPS d
uring changes--but you also need to use the "ipx eigrp sap-incremental" command
or something like that.

hi,
i am a little confused, i want to make it sure.
if i use eigrp in everywhere, i think the sap will not be updated periodical
ly. only the changes happened, the sap can be updated, this is the default fea
ture of the ipx eigrp, need not config it on the routers.
if i use ipx rip, i think the sap will be updated very XX second, even no sa
p changes happen. so if i want a sap only be updated when changes happened , so
i use "ipx update interval sap changes-only" on the interface i want it to do
so.
is this right?
but it seems that , the command only be supported by ios v11.3, and above, i
f i use 11.2, any idea???
thanks a lot!!
