Password recovery

I don't think I'm asking anyone to violate the NDA here, but if someone
feels otherwise, please let me know....What terminal program do they use in
the lab? I'm assuming it's a Microsoft HyperTerminal program, and if so, is
it a version that can send a break character? The only way I've been able
to do password recovery from NT hyperterminal is using the trick where you
change the baud rate on the connection, turn off flowcontrol, and use the
space bar....I can't imagine this is the method Cisco would like to see you
use, so I'm assuming they have something that supports a break character.
Again, I know this is a direct question about what is used in the lab, but
seeing as how the terminal program is simply the tool used to access the
routers and switches, I hope that this info could be given out within the
NDA.
Any and all replies are greatly appreciated,
Jack
