It's possible. Only if the token ring interface support DTR (Direct Token
Ring.)
I have tried to connect Cisco 4000 with TR interface directly to a Sun Sparc
20 directly. Then I tftp the IOS image from the sparc to my router.

I just follow the pin assignment to make the cable.

That is not possible. You have to use a MAU or Token Ring hub, hit the
textbooks to find out why. Further, the DB9 output is at 150 Ohm and the
RJ45 connector is 100 Ohm so you have to adapt the signal. What you need
are usually known as Type 3 media converters. This is the only location
that I know of -
